Blog Party: Craft Schooling Sunday

Welcome To The Best Of Craft Schooling Sunday: The Great Outdoors

Craft schooling sunday button art

Craft Schooling Sunday has been taking a summer holiday break until September 3rd, so Welcome to Craft Schooling Sunday "The Best Of" a round-up of projects from Craft Schooling Sunday parties that took place prior to 2016. Going through some of the old parties, and especially those from around three plus years ago, I realized how much this party has grown, not just in size but in the creativity that is contributed and the quality of photography as well. So pat yourselves on the back and sit back and enjoy a series of round-ups, which I'll be posting every Sunday until the party resumes.

This week I'm featuring two round ups because I just couldn't resist, and here I present to you the best of nature and outdoor related crafts. Just in time to make use of those hot summer afternoons and evenings when a little quiet time might just be the best thing of all, and to appreciate the days of summer spent outdoors (hopefully!)

Tie dyed picnic blanket, kokodama made with pothos cuttings

Craftiments (USA) tried out the botanical art of kokedama using some cuttings from a leggy pothos, and love this tie-dyed picnic blanket from homemade interest (USA)

Love this pom pom mobile that would be great in your succah, from pysselbolaget (Sweden) and artistic endeavors (USA) shared what I think is her best ever project, a gourd fairy house with polymer clay details, and it is wonderful!

Love this flip flop foot print craft from lifes little treasures (India) and crazy about these floral numbers from my home is my castle (Sweden.)

Hebrew school book bag, cable knit pillow cover

A fantastic book bag from while she naps, and another gorgeous knit pillow cover from Ginx craft. Maybe not exactly outdoor crafts, but that bag gets used taking books to piano lessons, or the library, so that counts, right?
