DIY Simple Flower Napkin Rings Lovely For Any Occassion!

Flower napkin ring DIYWe made these very simple yet oh so lovely flower napkin rings in just minutes to use on our Passover table, but truthfully they'd be great for just about any occasion, especially weddings, sheva brachas, or any time really! They are so simple to make that you truthfully could make a hundred or so in no time. I packed these away with the Passover dishes so that we can use them again next year, but am already thinking about looking for some larger flowers to use on our table for the Jewish holiday of Shavuot, in which we decorate out homes with flowers and greenery, perfect!

Ready to make some, or pick up the supplies to have on hand, let's do it!

You'll Need:

  • paper flowers, two per napkin ring, or if they are large, just one
  • ribbon
  • hot glue (optional), my flowers had a glue dot on the back of them!

How To:

Cut pieces of ribbon in the desired length to tie a bow around your napkin. Lay ribbon flat and attach the two flowers to the middle of the ribbon, using hot glue. Ta da, gorgeous!

Now of course, how you fold the napkin, does make a difference, and this was my daughter's idea actually. Lay napkin flat, pinch the middle together and scrunch in the sides as well. Or just sort of scrunch the sides of the napkin to the middle using your thumb and middle finger, from above. While still pinching together the middle of the napkin ring, tie the ribbon around it. Fan out the napkin a bit if necessary, and enjoy!
