Summer is such a wonderful time to delve into a new craft, or pick up a old beloved one, so do fit that into your busy schedule, and if you need an excuse, so go ahead and start thinking about decorations for the Succah or gifts for December gift giving! But really truly, creativity is such a wonderful thing you should never ever feel guilty about using yours! The biggest regret is not using creativity or acting on all those creative ideas, sigh.
