  Crocheted Granny square lampshade,striped lampshade

Single crocheted stripes inspiration here, and sweet granny square lampshade inspiration here.

You can't get much cuter than simple single crocheted or half-double crocheted pastel stripes, or granny squares on a ground of white. The first one is from The Netherlands, and the second from Sweden, and they're both straighforward to make and fabulous looking! Just be sure to make the shade cover a little smaller than the shade size so that it fits snuggly.

Beautiful chunky wool works up quickly and looks so cozy, not to mention looks great in a modern or rustic interior, as does the simple creme version. If you're ever craving a little bit of cuteness you can always add a little stripe of color or some crocheted trim.

A ball shaped crocheted lamp shade looks perfect in a modern interior, and the one on the right is crocheted right over a rice paper shade, how simple is that? Though quite a bit of work, so make sure you love the look before investing all those hours! And honestly depending on how dusty your home gets, this one is going to need washing regularly.

A small lamp shade made with t-shirt yarn is a perfect little project to get started, and then if you're still in love with the look, attempt something like this striped beauty with a variety of stitches.

  Crocheted Lampshade with flowers

A wonderfully creative way to decorate a lamp shade with flowers and trim, here.

This lamp shade was on my Craft Schooling Sunday features years ago, and I have to say, it still looks amazing and so very creative. Quite a statement!

My personal taste in crocheted lampshades is either brights or neutrals, but if you just love earth tones, you can certainly use those colors to make something that suites you. And that little lampshade on the right is a quickie, another project to get you started!

That is it for this round up of crocheted lamp shades, hope you're now inspired to sit down and crochet something of your own. After all, don't your lamps deserve to be cozy this winter too?

Youre welcome! Stay tuned for a round-up of DIY lampshades on Jan 10th, that will really be helpful too, as there are some great ideas that are much quicker than crocheting a bunch of covers!
