Welcome To Craft Schooling Sunday!
Welcome to Craft Schooling Sunday! After all the preparations for our huge Purim celebration, and the big clean up afterwards and then cooking for shabbat things have been very very busy around here! And now, just when one might want to pause for a moment, we must go full gear into organizing and cleaning the house for Passover! Now, technicallhy one doesn't need to go crazy with this, but most of us feel that if we don't Passover just isn't Passover……all the cleaning and hard work helps us identify with the hardships the Jews endured in Egypt, and there is no better feeling than sitting down at the Passover seder with a totally clean and organized house. Wish me luck, I have a big job ahead of me! Of course, I still will have to make some time for crafting, and this week's features are just as cute as can be, so enjoy, and thanks for joining me here.
Love love these dresden patchwork pot holders from flamingo toes (Tennessee, USA) and they sure look cute with wooden spoons with painted handles from simply darrling (Washington, USA.)
Another adorable project from flamingo toes, this palette mason jar sign that anyone can do with a template, and a cute way to upcycle a basket from the logbook (Iowa, USA.)
Leather handle dollar store baskets from clean and scentsible (Canada) and a fun spring wall decor over the piano from the logbook (Iowa, USA.)
Using a vintage egg cup for a pin cushion is fantastic, from atta girl says (Nevada, USA) and this lemon sugar scrub from pink heels pink truck (Texas, USA) looks amazing for spring!
A dresser gets upcycled into a fantastic bookshelf from viral upcycle, and scalloped edge box shelves from flamingo toes are as cute as can be!
Love this rabbit painted on her daughter's dresser from howling at the moon (The Netherlands) and a decoupaged acrylic frame from scrap shoppe blog (Tennessee, USA)
Crocheted fish from my crochet projects (Germany) and a fun rabbit pillow from upcycled clothing from pillar box blue (United Kingdom.)
Air drying clay plant markers from liviing la vida haloka (New Jersey, USA) and a fun watering can garden sculpture from dreaming n-color.
Layer tiramisu cake from something sweet (Israel) and fun candy carrot cake toppers from homemade interest (Florida, USA.) That is it for the features, what have you been up to?

I totally understand you! The preparation for Purim and immediately after – for Shabbath…. not easy.
I hope you and your family had a wonderful Purim (I made tons of Ozney-Haman) and thanks for hosting this party

Thanks Winnie, funny thing is that this year I was so busy it didnt even occur to me that I didnt have time to make oznei haman! I made a huge sheva brachas on Sunday, and after that two very time consuming costumes (photos coming soonβ¦) and mishloach manot and shabbos, phew! My husband didnt think it was possible to make our house presentable again, but we did it. Have a great week!

You’re a mom, so you have to take care of costumes. It’s fun!! We don’t have kids yet, so I could spend time baking and making mishlochey manot π
Thank you for featuring my Latte Tiramisu

Oh goodness! Thank you so much for featuring my shelves, and potholders and pallet art! You are just the sweetest!
Sara Rivka
You are welcome Heather, thanks for the nice wishes, have a long ways to go with the organization but it will all somehow get done in the next three weeks, which will be such a great feeling! Passover is about redemption from slavery, so the cleaning and organizing helps us stop being slaves to all our junk! Im never quite freed as a crafter and DIYer as you can imagine, but I try my best!
