Crocheted Victorian Lattice Tablerunner
Yesterday I shared with you a pattern for this lovely square called the Victorian Lattice square, and today, voila I can't quite believe it, but I am sharing with you the project I whipped up using just three such squares! Considering all the half finished projects I have kicking around, this is truly great news, and one aqua bedside cabinet is now looking pretty spiffy if I do say so myself. There is something really wonderful about a relatively quick crochet project that can infuse your home with that special handmade touch, without the huge effort that say crocheting a blanket requires. So here's to more crocheted table runners to use on bedside tables, on the dining room table, or even just slung over the back of a chair!

You'll Need:
- Worsted weight wool or whatever suits you, no guage required here.
- A 4.5mm crochet hook
- crocheted Victorian Lattice square pattern here
How To:
Crochet as many squares as required for the length of your runner. The last two rounds of my squares were done in light pink and dark pink. I then added rows of double crochet on either side of each square to get the length I desired and to set the squares apart from one another so you can really see the lovely pattern.
That light pink stripe in the upper right of top photo is how I joined my squares, which was with an alternating half double crochet between the two squares, and working on the wrong side. This join creates a raised chain down the middle which I did not want to see on the front.
Once you've finished all your stripes, add a sweet pom pom edging to each end, the pattern for that is so much fun and something you must learn how to do!
