Welcome To Craft Schooling Sunday!
Welcome to Craft Schooling Sunday! Spring is here and my desires are divided between crafting indoors and getting out into my container garden and doing a bit of freshening up. Ah yes, but with Purim in just a week, that container garden will have to wait as this is prime crafting season! My kids have now outgrown the school costume thing, and really just want to buy a crazy hat or wig, so having kept them out of the stores for years so as not to be tempted by all the store bought stuff, this year we'll just go ahead and gasp, just shell out a few shekels for some what we'd call "Purim shtick" namely comical accessories.
So without the usual costume flurry, things will be a bit different this year, and hoping to have a slightly calmer landing into the very holy holiday! Of course there are many things to do as always, so lets get started with this party!
Here are the features from last week:
Love these crocheted chair cushions from Pillar Box Blue, and this great looking cowl from Anne Marie.
A simple DIY for a hanging plant from a bowl from Brittany Goldwyn, and a fun faux cowskin lampshade from rain on a tin roof.
A gorgeous distressed paint job on a dresser from homestead 128, and a lovely upcycled vase from The Navage Patch.
A simple pillow DIY from The Turquoise Home, and love this chair planter from The Nature Decor Blog.
Air drying clay gift tags from my life from home and a truly lovely old (oh my, can only think of the word in Hebrew, my second language at the moment!) ah yes, shutter, flower pot holder from simple nature decor blog.
Gorgeous geometric embroidery for spring from Busy Being Jennifer, and some lavender scrub from pink heels pink truck.
A solar system embroidery from pale blue corner, and cozy fingerless gloves from Ginx Craft.
Countertop herb garden from simple nature decor blog, and a vintage playing card garland with lace from duct tape and denim.Fun Dr. Suess cupcake toppers from ava's alphabet, , and a look at Jennifer Perkin's pom pom storage!
Gitter star wands from do it your freaking self, and gold star mugs from ava's alphabet.
That my friends is it for the features, what have you been up to?

This post made me laugh and sigh – I’m sorry your kids are too big for homemade this year, but I bet they rediscover the joys of it again in college! Enjoy the break from that particular job, Sara. Love that cowhide lamp!!!

Just the other day my sister and I were talking about the great Queen Esther costume mom made us for Sunday School. I don the specifically remember “outgrowing” it but I guess we did become tool cool for dress up.
