Hanukkah Menorah Wall Hanging Using Wool Felt
Looking for a fun Hanukkah craft to make this year? Hanukkah decorations made with wool felt and wool felt only are satisfying to make, work up quickly, and look amazing! This Hanukkah menorah wall hanging makes a great keep sake project that you’ll enjoy taking out each year, and would also be wonderful as a special gift to loved ones. Ah yes, and I should mention, this wall hanging was made with no glue whatsoever, and so sewing either, just using the simple technique of felting. Wool felt is available at your local crafts supply store in a range of delicious colors and in 12″x12″ sheets, so treat yourself to some creativity this holiday season, and believe me, you’ll be really really happy about it!
My picture ledges mounted over the kitchen table are a great way to display collections, and most recently have been used to display my collection of white fish-shaped plates. Swapping one of the middle shelves out with these felt Hanukkah decorations is a great way to add some festivity, while still maintaining the clean and calm look we (my teen daughter, the other style maven in the house, and I) love. Using small wooden craft clothes pins is convenient and really cute, and allows for all kinds of options for using these decorations in other ways in the future.
In my humble opinion, the elephant and his new felt blanket is the cherry on top of the cake in this display, so don’t forget to add some whimsy, especially something so very simple!

Thanks Mich! Ordered this felt at least three years ago, and finally started to use it up…..fortunately I had one dark grey piece…..and yes sometimes it is the simplest little touches that make the whole thing great! Happy Hanukkah crafting….
