Welcome To Craft Schooling Sunday!
Welcome to Craft Schooling Sunday! Thanks so much for joining me here at this crafty get together that never disapoints as far as being a great source of inspiration from around the world, and from a nice variety of bloggers! We are now in the Jewish month of Nissan, which means that Passover is less than two weeks away and it is truly time to get serious about everything that needs to get done for the holiday. For myself and my neighbors that means a very thorough spring cleaning, together with a serious attampt at overall organization and geting rid of stuff we don’t need. It is that last one that is always a struggle for a repurposer and recycling crafter like myself, sigh. So there isn’t going to be a whole lot of time for crafting in the next few weeks, but of course gotta squeeze in some Passover projects with the kids and some simple decorations, as we do for every Jewish holiday! Okay, gotta run, enjoy these fabulous features from last week’s party:
A whimsical flower box from an upcycled tool box from summery umbrella (USA) and a fun pretend seder plate made from felt for the little ones from moms and crafters (USA)
Tips for keeping hydrangeas indoors from clean and scentsible (BC, Canada) and a wonderful skeleton key wind chime from simply darrling (Washington, USA.)
Lovely embroidered spring hoop art from busy being Jennifer (Texas, USA) and a fabulous way to personalize a frame with a painted geometric heart from scrap shoppe blog (Tennessee, USA)
Giant paint by numbers style wall art from a photo from pillar box blue (United Kingdom) and a fun painted cross stitch bangle from decoart (USA.)
A pretty spring printable from clean and scentsible (BC, Canada) and tips for painting vintage chairs like this great one, from the log book (Iowa, USA.)
An adorable pineapple bag with tutorial from make it and love it (USA) and a perfect for spring Kate Spade handbag knock off from flamingo toes (Tennessee, USA)
Sweet felt butterfly broochs from we bloom here (California, USA) and a fun crocheted star pillow from Anne Marie’s haak blog (The Netherlands.)
A crocheted mermaid tail child’s afghan pocket from simply summer street (USA) crocheted fish from homemade at my place (Mozambique.)
A fun pom pom trimmed blanket (Moroccan style, and a great idea for any blanket) from chris in de haak (The Netherlands) and a fun way to include a little bit of crochet on your desk, a crocheted pencil holder form my world of crochet (Germany.) And that dear readers is it for the features, what have you been up to?

Thanks Claire, love the wall art, and yes that pineapple bag is adorable, just showed it to my daughter, an up and coming sewer, hoping maybe shell give it a try! If course no fabric like that in sight, but maybe we can find something yellow at least, or maybe stencil a pattern on yellow fabric, ah yes, that is what well do!
