Welcome To Craft Schooling Sunday!
Welcome to Craft Schooling Sunday, thanks so much for joining me here! We are now finally back home after an unplanned trip, followed by a planned trip, and I can’t wait to start making things, which is how I always feel after a major holiday. We are now in the Jewish month of Iyar, which means that the festive holiday of Lag B’Omer is just around the corner, and while we are currently in a period of mourning on the Jewish calendar (no music, weddings, haircuts) one can certainly anticipate the upcoming holiday with some fun crafts! Additionally Spring is a wonderful time to get outdoors, and start thinking of creative activities that involve nature, whether it is gardening, or nature crafts or even sitting under a tree and drawing, ahhhh, that sounds amazing! My schedule is still packed with too many things to even allow me to get back to my painting exploration, but hoping to carve out some time soon, yes very soon, gotta do it! Speaking of “do it” take a look at the wonderful features from last week’s party, and get inspired to add some creativity to your upcoming week!
I adore this decoupage tin can vase idea, brilliant from yes of course, pillar box blue. And come to think of it, this would be a perfect craft for Shavuos, when we fill the house with flowers!
Super sweet lavender sachets using vintage look fabrics from flamingo toes.
Great looking crocheted bobble washcloths from eye love knots, would be amazing gifts, and are a pleasure to whip up.A lovely living room refresh from celebrating everyday life, which includes a brick fireplace painted white and lots of blue and white china.
An adorable crocheted bear in a dress for a baby girl, from lalka crochetka, and fun amigurumi dancers from frau tschi tschis troup, she makes one for each member of the troup, amazing!
A lovely classic coastal style bathroom from clean and scentsible, who is having a major moment on this week’s party!
Wow, you can make a fun mirror by upcycling an old stained glass lampshade, courtesy of girl just DIY, and you can also be totally handy and make yourself a DIY chevron cabinet, also from girl just DIY.
Love this outdoor beverage carft from clean and scentsible.
Lovely and free printable floral gift tags from celebrating everyday life, and lemon rosemary stovetop pot pourri from home cooking memories.
An amazing DIY astro turf rug from rain on a tin roof (featured here before, but just had to share it again, it is a keeper!)
A great looking DIY sign holder/lantern stand from clean and scentsible…..would be great to have a bunch for outdoor entertaining!A sweet knit newborn hat with ear flaps from ginx craft, and a head band knitting pattern from lilia craft party.
That is it for the features, what have you been up to?
