Dear Readers, Tonight we are ushering in the two day Jewish New Year, Rosh HaShana, so I'm just popping in to wish you all a shanah tovah, a good new year, a sweet new year filled with good health, happiness and success in all your endeavors. And in addition, may you be blessed with peace within your family and in your community, which will help bring peace to the entire world! And while we are at it, wishing you as well the ability to prioritize and use your precious time wisely, which will hopefully lead to more time for creativity!

That said, I just wanted to mention that today, the last day of the year is a very special one indeed! Why you may ask? Well as it turns out, according to Jewish belief, we can always get up when we fall, we can always improve ourselves and we should never fall into despair because we have failed at something. As long as we are here on this earth we have the power to not only change, but to right all the wrongs! Amazing right? So how does this apply to the last day of the year? Well, today is the day to think positive thoughts, to give thanks for all the good in your life and to in effect fix all the things that you would like to fix from the entire year! A big task for most of us, but at the very least if we are aware of the special nature of this day we will hopefully make it a spiritual one!

While we are going about preparing for the holiday doing seemingly mundane things, our thoughts can be anywhere we choose them to be! Got it? So spend the day in introspection and enter the new year with a truly clean slate! And while you are at it, it sure is nice to wish family and friends and neighbors a sweet new year, and to treat all those with whom you come into contact with the utmost kindness and tenderness. Today is the day to let the truly wonderful you shine!

Wishing you all an amazing and meaningful Rosh HaShana, with love from Northern Israel.
