Welcome To Craft Schooling Sunday!
Welcome to craft schooling Sunday, thanks for joining me here!
With just an hour or so left before sundown and the time when we usher in the holy day we call shabbat, I am finishng up this post so that I don't have to worry about running to the computer to post it once shabbat is over, Saturday night, this week around 8:20pm or so. On we shabbat we obstain from all things wired for a blissful 25 hours…… no computers, phones, tvs, radios etc. …….yes we do enjoy things that are wired electrically like air conditioning, lights and things to keep our food warm, but if they are turned on and off only by a pre-set timer that does it for us. Ahhhhh, a mini break every week to spend time with family and friends, and in our case many strangers as well whom we welcome into our home for the meal Friday night, and/or the meal Saturday at noon.
I guess hosting is just sort of my thing, here virtually, and in my home actually!
That is all for now, I hope you enjoy all the wonderful features from last week's party:
A cuter than cute unicorn birthday party head band from bird's party, and a lovely needlepoint rose sachet from flamingo toes. A fabulous way to get rid of ugly bathroom floor tiles, paint and stencil them, from lolly jane, and a simply perfect summer DIY tire swing from the scrap shoppe blog.
A fabulous unicorn birthday cake that is simpler than it looks, from bird's party, and super sweet unicorn first birthday cupcakes via lolly jane.

An adorable crocheted hippo from frau tschi tschi, and just love this stuffed alpaca from Ginx craft, that the teenage daughter made for her mother, using her own dressing gown which now has a huge hole in the back…..fortunately her mother is a creative wiz and can certainly find a remedy for that…..love the story of mother/daughter creativity!
Love love love this ribbon and lace flag wall hanging from flamingo toes, and a gorgeous candy cane ripple afghan that is patriotic too, from lacy crochet.
A oil cloth lining for a canvas bag makes the perfect swim bag from dazzle while frazzled, and glitter soap is the perfect craft for having some great little gifts on hand this summer, from the crafty blog stalker.
A light weight crocheted triangular scarf, perfect for showing off interesting yarn from howling at the moon, and a fun little granny pouch, perfect for that soap, from eye love knots.
A great looking and simple crocheted granny stitch scarf from eye love knots, and a fun wide mock neck knit top from the flying needle.
A lovely fireplace and styling job from the junque cottage, and fun "party animal" necklaces that would make perfect party favors from flamingo toes.
Great looking industrial shelves for the bathroom from welsh design studio, and equally great looking open shelves for a tiny kitchen in a rental apartment from sincerely sweet pea.
