Welcome To Craft Schooling Sunday!
Welcome to Craft Schooling Sunday! Every year I take a break with the party for the month of December, and I can’t believe that time has come again. So, here’s to the last party of 2017, give it your all!
I hope all the Americans in the crowd have been taking advantage of the long weekend to get crafting? If not, then hopefully you are spending time with family, friends, and loved ones, or doing something truly meaningful, or both. Now of course family time can also be crafting time, as can travel time…….knitting, crocheting and embroider are all really great crafts to do on the road, or take along to a family gathering!
Cold weather has arrived here in Northern Israel, and honestly I can’t wait to finish all my Hanukkah craft comittments so I can get crocheting, hmmmm, or sewing, not sure which, but making cozy things for my family is what is calling my name right about now! What about you? Not quite sure where to start? Take a look at the features from last week’s party, and get the ball rolling, shall we?
G0rgeous marbled tins that are upcycled and decorated using nail polish from pillar box blue, and adorable felt candy garland from growing up gabel.
A stunning table, (take note of the candle color, the artichokes and the gold colored silverware) from sorry still looking for the link and gorgeous copper leaves from sparkle living.
A fun machine embroidered and appliqued hoop art from flamingo toes, and a sweet as can be playroom from house to decor, via lolly jane.
Another amazing recycling craft from pillar box blue (now I know I’m not the only one that saves these bottles!), and a lovely red apples and candles centerpiece from julie blanner, with a step by step post. Make those leaves olive leaves and it could even work for Hanukkah! I am loving this bare wood table look, though thought to mention that according to Jewish tradition tables must have table cloths on them for Shabbat and holidays, so have to save this look for birthdays or other get togethers. Of course I don’t have a natural wood table, so can’t do this in any case at the moment……..
A lovely journal cover from just being Jennifer, and fun perler/hama bead snow plaque from howling at the moon.
A knit frog courtesy of one of her readers, from Ginx craft, and sweet mason jar snowmen from bombshell blng.
Great looking rustic frames made from palette wood from DIY home sweet home, and a fun DIY no sew teepee from handmade home, fantastic.
Love these light blue craft room walls, from lolly jane and this sweet crocheted baby blanket from lilia craft party.
That is it for the features, what have you been up to?
