DIY Tin Can Pots Ten Ways: A Round up

Tonight is the beginning of the very festive (around our neck of the woods) holiday called Lag B’Omer, though for the moment (a quiet moment before all the guests, action, etc.) I am dreaming about making a festive tin can garden for the next big Jewish holiday, Shavuot! Tin cans of all sizes can be up-cycled to make the most adorable or fashionable tin can garden or centerpiece. Check out the ideas I’ve assembled for you here thanks to a bunch of talented folks, and don’t dream, collect those tin cans and enjoy!

Number 1: Decoupage With Napkins: This fun project from pillar box blue, using decoupaged marimekko napkins is what got me dreaming in the first place! Just love love love it.

Number 2: Paint on Paint: These polka dot tin can planters are just so much fun, from I should be mopping the floor. Simply painted and polka dots applied with a sponge brush.

Number 3 Paint Pen on Paint: These cans are great looking, sorry don’t know the source, but they were painted in solid colors and then drawn on with a white paint pen.Number 4: Paint: This is just gorgeous, cans painted in solid colors and displayed on a vividly colored table, from dos family, go for it I say!

Number 7: Metallic Paint: This is a truly gorgeous wedding centerpiece that includes tall tin cans painted gold in the mix, via shelterness.
