Crocheted Doll Bassinet With Changing Pad
The best present you can crochet for a little three year old who loves baby dolls is this moses basket or baby bassinet crocheted using t-shirt yarn. Fun to crochet and the results are just too adorable. I followed an existing pattern more or less, and felt like adding a little mattress/changing pad, which give the bassinet that little extra something. Of course that is only if like me you tend to get obsessed with the crocheting, the bassinet alone is fantastic too! And if you don’t know how to crochet, well maybe this project is the one that is going to get you inspired? Crocheting with t-shirt yarn is so much fun, and think of all the rugs and baskets that are waiting to be made, right? Okay, lets get this project started……
- t-shirt yarn in colors you love
- a 6.5 mm crochet hook, or hook size that results in tight work
- Take a look at my post with instructions for crocheting the bassinet, here.
How To:
Simply follow pattern for oval base, but make base small enough to fit inside bassinet. Then, make a rim by crocheting a row of SC around, in the front loop only. Then crochet another row in HDC, and that is it!

Hi! This is so adorable. However, I wasn’t able to access the pattern. The link showed an “error.” How can I find this pattern; on Ravelry? Thanks again!

Hi LInda,
I reloaded the links, so they should be working now, happy crocheting, and happy Tu BShevat.
