Welcome To Craft Schooling Sunday!
Welcome to Craft Schooling Sunday, thanks so much for joining me here. Spring has sprung and on a shabbos stroll in the nearby nature area I saw many lovely red anemones in bloom, and I really must head back tomorrow with a camera! With Passover in just 3 weeks from today, the intense house cleaning and holiday preparations need to start, and I’m going to have to make a deal with myself that painting and art will be the reward after a certain number of hours of organizing. This coming week is the week to get serious, and 2 of my boys will be on vacation in another week, just…

Welcome To Craft Schooling Sunday!
Welcome to Craft Schooling Sunday, thanks so much for joining me here! Phew, after a very busy Purim holiday on Friday that went straight into shabbat, we are all exhausted, but had a wonderful action packed holiday. Friday afternoon is generally a time to prepare for shabbat in a hopefully relaxed stress free way, and some are even able to take a nap, as they have done most of the prep work on Thursday. This year, it was as if shabbat wasn’t going to come, and those of us in charge had to steer the ship in that direction by trying to clean up and do all the usual preparations…

Welcome To Craft Schooling Sunday!
Welcome to Craft Schooling Sunday, thanks so much for joining me here !his is week is going to be packed with getting ready for Purim, which starts on Thursday night. There are of course some decorations I want to make but since Purim will be happening on a much smaller scale this year, and my house already looks quite festive, there really isn’t too much pressure……the gifts of food for neighbors do need to be made however, and with Purim happening right before shabbat, giving something that can be enjoyed on the shabbat table is especially nice. I don’t know if I have the time this year to make the…

Welcome To Craft Schooling Sunday!
Welcome to Craft Schooling Sunday, thanks so much for joining me here! I almost can’t believe that the festive Jewish holiday of Purim is in two weeks, which means I need to get my act together. Hmmm, right about now I’d rather spend my creative time painting and drawing, so I will be combining that with Purim crafts as much as time allows. Most importantly I need to get out and see the blooming almond trees as we are expecting a big dose of winter on Monday, which may even include some snow, and at the least lots of rain and freezing weather! You will not find me complaining about…

Welcome To Craft Schooling Sunday!
Welcome to Craft Schooling Sunday, thanks so much for joining me here! What can I tell you? Life is busy yet the creativity MUST go on, as it brings more life to life! Purim is in just 3 weeks friends, so for those who will be making costumes for the little ones, now is the time to get started, don’t pull all nighters like I used to, or try not to anyway? For the past few years I’ve been giving my Purim gifts (mishloach manot) in the form of a lovely spread of Moroccan salads, but this year I’m thinking of spending that time painting oatmeal cans to make something…

Welcome To Craft Schooling Sunday!
Welcome to Craft Schooling Sunday, thanks so much for joining me here! Today is a rainy winter day, so I’m not sure what is going on with the almond trees that should be blooming just about now. I don’t see any from my house, so stay tuned for that, and with the festive holiday of Purim in just one month, now is the time to get crafting. No costumes for me to make this year, and we won’t be having a huge party either, waaah, but I will invest in our gifts of food for the neighbors, which is going to be something more crafty and creative than the last…
