Crocheted T-Shirt Yarn Flower Medallion Stool Cover

One of my very favorite things to crochet is a stool cover, and here are my two new favorites………in bright colors to match my all new Moroccan turquoise couches, really! And the fun thing about these crocheted stool covers is that they are crocheted using industrial t-shirt yarn, so each one only takes around 2 hours or even less, especially once you get the hang of it. So if you don't own any round stools, run to get some, because, take my word for it, this crochet project is a must!

Now, I know you are likely hoping for a pattern for this, but I am running to start our month long summer vacation and just don't have a moment to post the pattern. Sorry about that, hopefully I will find a moment to link to the pattern that inspired me though, and tell you what changes I made. But in any case, I hope this has been a great source of inspiration, as you surely can come up with something all by yourself, right?

Note: Didn't find that pattern, hmmmm, but I realized that this is basically an African Flower, just instead of using DC for the center stitches and the petals, I used Triple Crochet, as that worked better with the t-shirt yarn. Also, I started with a magic circle. I thing that is really all you need to know, now just follow a pattern for the african flower, and then instead of making it a hexigon, make it with seven petals so that it can be round. Got it, I know you can do it!Happy stool cover crocheting, really truly a great home accessory that is easy to wash and can be changed with the seasons. Go for it!
