Crocheted Ribbed Potholder Stash Buster
One of the things I enjoyed during our visit to Sweden this past summer was the lovely touch of crocheted potholders hung in the kitchen! This was the case in two of the rentals we stayed in, so I can safely assume that it is a rustic Swedish touch, and I love it! These particular ribbed cotton potholders were crocheted with marled yarn (multi strands in different colors) so the effect is a lovely speckled color, which also hides the imperfections and gives a nice rustic feel. Sketchbook Practice Tips From A Novice
If you are like me, you drool at the sight of sketchbooks filled with lovely and creative paintings or illustrations, and you just aren’t sure how to get there yourself. Well I can tell you one thing: dreaming about it won’t get you there, but owning a sketchbook and a few basic supplies and then forcing yourself to open the book and paint might get you there, or at the very least a bit closer! A Peek Inside My New Landscape Format Sketchbook
I just love the idea of a creative practice that involves a sketchbook, or even multiple sketchbooks and while I have yet to actually develop a consistent sketchbook routine, there is always hope?
