Woven Recycled Bottle Basket Craft
I am so excited to share with you this recycled craft that is made entirely of recycled materials, with the exception of hot glue! Let me introduce a fun craft project for all ages: woven plastic bottle baskets using plastic bags. These little baskets are perfect for Purim or any of your spring celebrations, and so much fun to make! I used 1.5 liter soda bottles as that is what we have on hand, but certainly one can make much larger baskets using much larger bottles. So gather up those plastic bags, and those recycled bottles and lets get started! Oh, and just by the way, I also made some…

Giant Party Hats
Giant cardboard party hats are the perfect thing to make when you want to make a statement with festive decorations for a birthday party, or in our case the upcoming Jewish holiday of Purim, but you don't have a huge amount of time to invest. Make them in a few sizes, and place them in the middle of the table as a fun centerpiece. Next time I think I'll go with solid colors and huge white polka dots and a yarn or plastic bag pom pom on top. I'll let you in on a littel secret though, I have actually used these hats as Purim party decorations for our community…

Milk Carton Craft For Kids: Fun Animal Desk Organizers
Looking for a fun craft for kids (or to make for kids) that is just truly adorable? You've found it! This milk carton craft that results in the cutest little milk carton animal boxes is truly a keeper, and requires minimal supplies. So save those milk cartons (I was driving my family crazy with a cabinet stuffed full of them) and have fun creating a whole menagerie. The more the better, and while they make great little desk or craft cubby organizers, you can also use them as sweet party favor boxes, or in our case, to hold little edible gifts for our Purim shaloch manos, or as we generally…

Washi Tape Decorations
Washi tape is the number one simplest way to add an adorable crafty touch to any occasion. Need some quick party decorations? Make washi tape flags and washi tape garlands. Need a cake topper? Again, washi tape to the rescue. And need to fill a wall with something fun, washi tape can do the trick, though I have yet to try that one, even though I really must! Oh, and almost forgot, need to transform a plain box or paper into something special for gift wrapping, you already know the answer, washi tape! Oh, and washi tape can transform a plain box of matches into special washi tape matches!

DIY Super Simple Cupcake Stand
When you find plastic bowls and plates in retro modern colors at IKEA that are totally cheap and can be used to make the most adorable little cupcake stands, well who can resist? Certainly not me! And the only reason that these bowls and plates remained way up high in my kitchen cabinet for a few months was that I just didn't have the right little dessert that would work with them. (My daughter made these mini cupcakes in her new multi use cupcake cakepop waffle iron that is working really well.) Of course these DIY cupcake stands would look great as catchalls on a desk or sideboard too, if…
