Quilling Crafts For Hanukkah: A Dreidel Wall Hanging
I am reposting this Hanukkah quilling craft as now is the time to delve into something new! And as a result of my computer still living in the repair shop I am unable to share with you all the creative results of not having a computer to work on! Okay, it is true I am typing this on a laptop, but one without my programs etc. I am in the middle of a huge storm of creativity and looking forward to sharing some of that with you soon, in the mean time, give quilling a try! As you can see, I really had a great time creating a series of…

Adorable Mini Torah Scrolls Craft
With the 7 days holiday (here in Israel, 8 elsewhere) ending tonight and the immediate transition into the holiday of Simchat Torah, this might be a craft to keep in mind for next summer, namely to make ahead, as honestly right now, we are still celebrating one holiday and can’t prepare crafts for the next! At the end of the day today we literally move our dining room table out of the Succah and into the house, and continue with the new holiday, which includes a very different schedule due to festive dancing with the sefer Torah in the synagogue, which literally goes on for hours! Recycling Crafts For Yom Kippur
Yom Kippur starts on Tuesday night, so now is the time to honor the holiday with some simple recycling crafts! It is true, that if you are building a succah, crafting time might be more well spent on making succah decorations, but if you are among those that travel to family for Succot, then why not make some Yom Kippur crafts? You may end up inviting…

Folk Art Doodle Apple Cards Or Gift Tags
Now is the time of year for all things apple related, because Rosh HaShana is approaching and the apple is one of the symbols for the Jewish New Year, not to mention Fall of course. It might be hard to believe that once upon a time apples were seasonal fruit, but yes indeed, and therefore they were given a great deal more respect I might add. So lets shower those apples with some attention and cover them with folk art doodles! This idea popped into my head, and while the original thought was a painting, using markers is much quicker (for most of us) and a great way to whip…

Needlepoint Dreidels For Hanukkah With Plastic Canvas
This Chanukah is turning out to be a plastic canvas craft extravaganza! Yes just a bit odd for someone who prefers to craft with recyclables, but hey, sometimes I just want to make some great looking crafts from store bought suppiles, can you blame me? I will say that all the supplies for these plastic canvas Chanukah crafts are things that I already have on hand, and I have been using up little bits and pieces of yarn, and even unraveling swatches to get enough of the colors I desire! These plastic canvas dreidels were actually the first thing I made, just somehow decided to share them with you last,…
