Simple Vegetables With Cream Cheese Appetizer
I have a really simple idea for creating a great looking platter of fresh veggie appetizers or finger food for a buffet: cream cheese topped whole veggies with a touch of whimsy, and placed on a mirrored tray, or even just a round mirror, which is what was used here. The vegetables are lined up like little soldiers and with relatively minimal effort you can create something that looks quite elegant. Gotta love the minimal effort part right? Oh and of course you don't have to use cream cheese, just as long as whatever you'd like to use can be piped in a pastry bag…..like possibly whipped cooked egg yolks,…

Crocheted T-Shirt Yarn Star Medallion Stool Cover Pattern
This crocheted stool cover using t-shirt yarn is so quick to make and so much fun. A great project for crocheters of all levels, and really satisfying, take it from me! So gather up some commercial t-shirt yarn, or try this pattern using any variety of yarn or rope, just keep in mind that if you use something that is not stretchy like the t-shirt yarn you will have to tie the cover on with a drawstring on the underside. Okay, lets get started!

Crocheted T-Shirt Yarn Stool Cover
Crocheting a stool cover with commercial t-shirt yarn is one of my all time favorite projects. It goes really quickly, and the results are wonderful! (Okay, I'll admit, these are not my favorite colors, but am trying to use up everything I have….a few years back t-shirt yarn was scarce in Israel so I bought whatever colors I found!) Plus, because the t-shirt yarn is stretchy, the cover can be made to fit exactly on your stool, like a shower cap of sorts, whereas stool covers made with regular yarn do generally need a draw string in order for the cover to sit tightly on the stool. This pattern only…

Giant Granny Square Chair Pad Crocheted With T-Shirt Yarn
Ready for a fun project using commercial t-shirt yarn that adds a wonderful decorative touch to your home or outdoor space? Crochet a giant granny square chair pad in just a few hours, and you'll certainly want to make a whole bunch! And the fun part about crocheting with commercial t-shirt yarn is that the results are quite thick, so this really does pad the chair. Not to mention of course that this is much easier to wash than a chair pad with a foam insert. If this chair pad has got you thinking that you'd like to make a whole rug using giant t-shirt yarn granny squares, well you…

How To Splice T-Shirt Yarn Pieces And Make A Ball of Yarn!
If you are like me and you can't stand to waste even the tiniest pieces of yarn, you'll surely appreciate this suggestion: make a ball of yarn using up all those little pieces, or not so little pieces. You know the tiny bits left over, or in my case the scraps that you cut off after weaving in the ends. Sometimes that pile of ends that you've just cut off your project can be quite large, and really, a shame to just toss in the garbage! Now if you happen to think that I'm quite possibly off my rocker, then fine, I totally understand, use your time for something else,…
