Tiered Birthday (Or Wedding) Cake Gift Box
My tiered birthday or wedding cake gift box actually happened a few months ago when I was cleaning for Passover and trying to get rid of stuff. Of course round cardboard boxes aren't something one should throw out, but as they hadn't been put to use for years I kept eyething them for a possible project. And then, yippee, this cake box using packing peanuts as frosting came to mind, and it was made really in a matter of minutes. Five Minute Simple And Cute Cake Topper
This adorable five minute cake topper really will only take you five minutes, especially if you have all the simple supplies on hand, and you most likely do! Okay, it is true, you may wish to invest more time in a cake for a loved one's birthday, understandable, but on the other hand, sometimes you need some quick tricks, and sometimes simple is truly the best! Climbing Roses In A Container Garden
If you love climbing roses (who wouldn't?) but you don't have any actual land to call your own, not to worry, you can grow climbing roses in containers, you just have to be a bit more patient and have slightly lower expectations. My lovely pink climbing roses have finally started to reach the height I was dreaming of when I planted them……(9 years ago!) and it is truly exciting. And as you can see, the clusters of blooms are truly lovely. I have a large built-in trough shaped planter (about 3 stories above any actual ground) next to our entrance courtyard that holds three standard rose bushes and two climbing…

Succulents In Bloom: Round Leafed Navel Wort (Cotyledon Orbiculata)
How could such a wonderful succulent with such gorgeous flowers have a name like Navel Wort? And its alternate name, which I won't mention here as it includes the name of a very non-kosher animal, isn't any better! That said, I just wanted to share with you my blooming succulent, as with all the trendy succulent gardening which seems to be going on, I haven't seen much mention of flowering succulents, when in fact many do! And even more interesting, one often can't even identify a mystery succulent until it flowers, showing its true self. This year this pot only produced one stalk of flowers for some reason, and as…
