Eleven Great Tips For Assembling Stunning Containers
On our trip to Toronto at the beginning of August one of the things that I found remarkable about this lovely city on the lake is their love of flowers and the quantities that one sees around the city, simply amazing! Rather than just show you photos of some of my favorites I thought I'd use this opportunity to give some advice and point out why each of these examples is successful. Ready, this is going to be a good one. And if it weren't pitch black outside right now I think I might be inclined to run out and put some of my own advice to use, enjoy! And…

Public Sculpture In Toronto
A few years ago I shared with you a collection of some fantastic public sculpture in Vancouver which was such a treat, and I'm happy to report that the support of public sculpture is also alive and well, infact thriving in Toronto as well. Make a balloon bouquet! This is my first balloon bouquet as far as I can remember and was the perfect little party decoration to whip up in no time, because on account of cooking up a storm for our extended family get together there just wasn't any time left for my usual grand birthday decorating effort. (And fortunately the celebration wasn't for my kids, but rather my nieces who have…

Welcome Back To Craft Schooling Sunday
Welcome back to Craft Schooling Sunday! After a whole month being mostly unplugged (yes, it really is possible, try it!) and with no work on the blog or reading emails I am back! I'll be honest, I did have an ipad that i used minimally, but it just seemed so out of character as much of the time we were in locations that didn't even have cell phone service, ahhhh, and i actually forgot all about it! I have lots of travel photos to share, and am feeling like it is seriously time to get crafitng as I have my son's bar mitzvah right smack in the…
