DIY Paper Plant: Flowering Bromeliad
A DIY paper plant can be the perfect solution if you need an inexpensive and festive party centerpiece (especially if you need a bunch) and best of all they can be made in any size that works for you. Not all the paper plants that i've seen in blogland have been quick to make, so I've come up with one that truly is…..ta da, introducing the paper flowering bromeliad. And I have to say, I haven't seen any flowering paper plants, with the exception of a cactus, so I'm happy to present you with an idea that is quick, budget friendly and can be made to suit your color scheme!…

Packing Peanuts And Cardboard Stars Craft
When I received a box filled with packing peanuts I immediately started thinking about how I'd use them for a craft project, and the first thing that came to mind was packing peanut stars. Of course, I actually thought I'd make the entire star out of packing peanuts, but with no real plan in mind, these fun stars are what actually came to be! The stars are quite large (the cardboard circle in the middle is from a family sized frozen pizza package) and fortunately turned out to be pefect decorations for the stage of our community Purim party this week. My only regret is that I only had time…

Star Of David Mosaic Craft For Kids
I love making mosaics, so when judaica web store asked me to try out their star of David mosaic kit, from their Jewish gifts for kids collection, just couldn't resist. and of course I was secretly hoping that at least one of my kids would actually finish the whole project without my having to step in and finish it, and hurray, my ten year old stepped up to the plate and over the course of three evenings finished the mosaic with only a little help from mom.

Milk Carton Flower Pot Craft
Crafting with recycled milk cartons is so much fun, so after we made a bunny and bear milk carton characters desk organizer, we just couldn't stop, and thus the cutest little milk carton frog was born, to join the others. Milk carton frogs could be great for Purim, for Passover, and of course for birthday parties of all kinds. A princess birthday party with milk carton frog party favors would be so adorable, and of course you could add a little crown somewhere, maybe attached to the back panel, you'll have to see what works. I love the idea of using these milk carton characters to make flower pots, either…

Milk Carton Craft For Kids: Fun Animal Desk Organizers
Looking for a fun craft for kids (or to make for kids) that is just truly adorable? You've found it! This milk carton craft that results in the cutest little milk carton animal boxes is truly a keeper, and requires minimal supplies. So save those milk cartons (I was driving my family crazy with a cabinet stuffed full of them) and have fun creating a whole menagerie. The more the better, and while they make great little desk or craft cubby organizers, you can also use them as sweet party favor boxes, or in our case, to hold little edible gifts for our Purim shaloch manos, or as we generally…

Origami Hearts Wall Hanging Craft
This origami hearts wall hanging which can be an origami craft for kids, was actually a collaboration between myself and my ten year old son, the best kind of partnership I must say! My kids are very busy these days and there really aren't any huge windows of time for crafting, but I'm always trying to sneak little activities in here and there, and origami is truly a winner in this department. Doing origami with kids helps build all kinds of skills, and when you're done you actually have something fun to show for it. Simple origami for kids can be used in so many ways, and this wall hanging…
