Simple Origami Jumping Frogs Are The Perfect Passover Craft
With the Jewish holiday of Passover arriving on Wednesday night, ready or not, now might be the time to spend just a few minutes making a cute craft to grace your Passover seder table? I’ll admit, despite high hopes of having time for a few simple crafts myself that wouldn’t be realistic right now as while my kitchen (the most important part) is kosher for Passover and I can start cooking, there are other areas in the house that need attention, not to mention the container garden (I got the boys and husband to mostly do that yesterday, phew) and ugh, my office/studio, which is always the big ugly monster…

Milk Carton Frogs Passover Seder Craft
With Passover less than a week away, it is certainly time to get crafting, if you can squeeze it in of course. Then again, maybe keeping the kids busy with some fun crafts for Passover may be the best idea right about now while you spend time getting the house and most importantly, the kitchen, in gear? My kids are now teens so they are helping big time, so no crafting for us, whaah. I am reposting this to share with you and reminisce myself! Enjoy! These milk carton frogs couldn’t be cuter and also make great party favor boxes or flower boxes any time! Of course, they are…

Giant Origami Pyramids Passover Centerpiece
With Passover starting on Wednesday night, now is a great time to get the family busy with some simple decorations to help make things a bit more cheerful than they might be, sigh. Those who might generally opt for a very elegant Passover table are likely going simple this year as well, and these origami pyramids can of course also be made from metallic paper which could be that perfect combination of elegant and crafty. I am re-posting this craft from a few years back as I am busy getting the house and the kitchen, and for the first time in years, even my studio, clean and organized and ready…

Splitting Of The Red Sea Diorama— A Reader’s Version!
One of the greatest pleasures of blogging is when readers actually use my instructions to make their own version of a project I’ve presented. So it is with very great pleasure that i present to you this fantastic version, submitted by Ilana Singer of Strasbourg, France, of my splitting of the Red Sea diorama, the original post can be seen here. While my original version is much simpler than this one, keep in mind that I made mine a whole nine years ago (gasp!) I love the idea of painting the cardboard waves and then adding cut paper shapes, as opposed to my tissue paper decoupage, and the Playmobil figures…

How To Make Simple Paper Pinwheels While Cleaning For Passover
At this point most folks have done the bulk of the necessary cleaning for Passover, (or maybe they are closing up their homes and heading to family or on vacation) and if not they are certainly not taking time to peek at my blog, as Passover starts on Friday night and there is soooo much to do for this 7 day (8 days outside Israel) holiday. So if you are reading this, either you don’t celebrate Passover, or you are ready to do some quick crafting before the holiday, so lets do it! While of course pinwheels aren’t exactly traditional Passover symbols, why not? The spinning of the pinwheel represents…

Ten Plagues Passover Seder Craft
I made these ten plagues placards for my kids for our seder eight whole years ago, and since they are still looking good (in the photos that is) I thought I’d pull them out of the archives to share them with you, as truly this a craft that will make memories for the kids (and fun loving adults) at your Passover seder table! Truthfully, while I love these ten plagues placards, they are on the large size and so I did a smaller version of this craft with some of the neighborhood boys, using skewers instead of dowels, and you can take a look at that craft here. Regardless of…
